With all our new patients, we aim to achieve and maintain the highest possible level of dental health. We provide a dental care plan tailored to meet the needs of each individual patient; this plan includes preventive dentistry including oral hygiene and regular check-up visits.

At Your First Visit
At your first visit we will carry out a full assessment of your dental health. This will involve both a visual examination and a full mouth x-ray (if required). The x-ray dose is very small (but please inform your dentist if you think you may be pregnant) and the information gained is extremely valuable and will help us to accurately assess each patients individual treatment requirements. We then discuss results of this examination with you in detail, and talk through the possible treatment options available. We will also explain the cost of any dental treatment that may be required and provide you with a full clear written estimate for the treatment we agree.

You don't need to be Nervous
At Belmont Lodge we are particularly aware that some people may be anxious about visiting the dentist. Our friendly team are on hand to listening to any concerns that you may have and to help explain what you can expect.

You really do not need to worry!

These days in addition to local very effective local anaesthetics there are some excellent and gentle sedation techniques, which can calm nerves and help patients relax during their visits and treatment. If you'd like more information please ask.
